$213,000 total new customer sales in 2013 from my website
I am the owner of two automotive repair & parts locations in Westerville Ohio and have been tracking the new customer sales from our JASPER coop website built by CMR Inc. These sales were "new" customers who brought in one of our on-line coupons for their first visit. Our sales for 2012 were impressive at $155,000 and I was very pleased with the program. Our total sales for "new" customers as a result of the website coupon program for 2013 were $213,000 and I was able to reduce some of our marketing costs.
What I did was include "Visit our website for special savings" in every ad that we had both print and on radio as well as any business cards or other printed materials used for my JASPER Owner | Installer website. I also utilized the CMR Easy News program to publish all of our news, customer stories, NAPA tips, and Jasper Engines news onto our JASPER website where it directly fed into our social media while growing our search engine optimization.
The Google Analytics program CMR put in place for our website allows us to track all of our traffic from what page they read and where they were sitting at that time to where our "referred" site links came from. I was able to see that my Yellow Pages (YP) on-line advertising was not resulting in traffic on my website or growing my sales which allowed me to cut that advertising expense.
